It's Valentine's. Have some romance you'll regret in the morning.

Yuzu moves to a new school with her recently remarried mother, and finds herself with a new step-sister, Mei, the (naturally all-powerful President of the school student council). Since Yuzu is a teen rebel without a cause, she makes a rather bad first impression.

"Crazy hot."

But they share a house and even a room and so have to get on.

Surprisingly, however, "get on" is apparently a euphemism for attempt to have lots of the sex. Some of it weirdly non-consensual.

At least seven shades of grey.

See, it's all about teen lesbians, who are only just figuring that out. So there is lots of uncertainty and grey areas about feelings, including when no means no. Because they're teenagers. And idiots. There is also lots of crying.

It does make a fairly valiant effort to take some of these matters seriously, with a reasonable amount of discussion regarding how people should act, but it's not terribly compelling. While there is a lot going on, it isn't particularly interesting (at least to me).

There is a certain amount of comedy in the ridiculous situations that they end up in, but it tends to be undercut by the romance. Especially when we get into annoying love triangle territory. Naturally, Mei has a childhood friend, who doesn't like losing out to the new sister.

It probably involves kissing. Or crying. Or kissing while crying.

Still, at least best girl, Harumin the secret rebel is still around to act as a confidante and overall entertainingly cheerful individual. Makes a nice change to the overly dramatic "oh do we love each other?"

Doujinshi. Not even once.

Don't think I'll stick with this one.

Not recommended.
